Wind can be commonly classified by its scale, speed, and what types of forces cause it, the regions in which it occurs, and its effect.
Artist Ashley Hope Carlisle founded WindDriven Studios LLC in 2015. Originally from the Southeast U.S., the wind has been a constant in her life, whether through hurricane force or simply a Wednesday in Wyoming and is often a theme within the work she makes. Ashley brings expertise in design, fabrication, and education with every idea realized. With over 20 years of experience, WindDriven Studios LLC strives to be carried towards new and exciting projects within the public art realm.
Ashley Hope Carlisle is currently an artist and Associate Professor of Art in Sculpture at the University of Wyoming. She has held this position for the past 14 years and has created art in the form of sculpture and drawing for the past 23 years.
